Ruth 1: 16  And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

Ruth 1 : 16 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

Do not doubt that Ruth was impressed by Naomi’s God. Perhaps Naomi walked righteously before Ruth and spoke often of the Lord of her Salvation. The Word of God tells us that Naomi went out full and she testified that because of the death of her husband and her sons that she came back empty. Nevertheless in her brokenness, obviously she esteemed her God. Obviously, Naomi lived the life she talked about. It is so important to be conscientious of your witness at all times. You never know who is watching you. You never know whose life you are influencing. Naomi did not know that she was responsible for the descendant of Jesus Christ.

The Word of God teaches that we should be careful how we entertain strangers because they might prove to be an angel in our midst. What is your witness before the barren? How do you go through? Can you say that your life is so in God that even in your emptiness that you can glorify God? Can your life be an inspiration to the lost, so much that they pledge their commitment to you.  You know before that unbeliever can meet Christ he or she meets. God has ordained His will and the lives of us all. You are a player, an entity of power that God will use to usher others to their appointed place. Someone else is impressing you as well. Be mindful of this: You are your brothers keeper.
